Green Cottage is set on five acres of bushland adjacent to a State Forest.

A rural retreat!

Self-Contained Accommodation of 6 to 8 people...Family groups welcome.

Tariffs:

$80 per night Monday to Thursday.

$120 per night Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

10% discount applies if booked for 3 nights or more.

Green Cottage has a queen and double bed and a bunk bed (2 single beds). It also has a fold out couch in the living room which could accommodate another two people.

Green Cottage is fully furnished.

The Blackwood Kitchen has a gas stove/oven and a fridge.

The furnished cottage also includes a TV and stereo.

The bathroom has a bath with shower and a laundry trough.

Child friendly facilites with outdoor setting and a swing set.

Green Cottage derives its name from the philosophy around which it was built.

Designed to be in harmony with the bush environment, the house is made of mudbricks and wood which gives it a unique charm and atmosphere.

Electricity is generated via Solar Panels and the water tanks are filled by the clear rain water of Central Victoria.

Heating is based on solar orientation of the building as well as a wood heater. The wood heater has a hot water booster that works in conjunction with the solar hot water service.

Native wildlife such as wallabies, cockatoos, parrots, echidnas, possums & kangaroos.

Close to historic towns of Maryborough & Maldon, both loaded with tourist attractions.

Laanecoorie and Cairn Curran Reservoirs for swimming, fishing and all types of water sports.

District vineyards including Laanecoorie & Mt. Moliagul.
