Rules of Competition  

1. Fish are eligible for the Laanecoorie Trophy from the lake and from the Loddon River between the weir wall and the Laanecoorie bridge.

1a. Carp are eligible for the Laanecoorie trophy only. 

2. Only fish taken within the 30km radius are eligible for local water trophies.

2a. The exeption being Teddington.

3.  The smallest fish eligible to win any trophy is 450g for a trout, 250g for a redfin and native fish must comply with NRE regulations.

4.  All fish are to be weighed-in whole.

5.  All fish taken within the 30km radius are eligible to win the Heaviest fish for the month.

  6.  Heaviest fish for the month competition is for the calendar month.

  7.  The Most Consistent Angler Competition runs from meeting to meeting. The last man standing wins.

  8.  The Winter Knockout Competition runs from meeting to meeting. 

  9.  All freshwater fish caught on a club outing are eligible for the Most Consistent Angler Competition.

10.  The largest losing fish in a round of the Most Consistent Angler Competition may go through to the next round to avoid a bye.

11. The Heaviest Cod Competition is an "all waters" trophy. Cod may be caught anywhere in season, on rod and reel, and can be weighed - in at all club weigh - in stations and at Darren Watts' house, as well as any registered scales.

This is not meant to be a complete list, waters not listed are eligible if within the 30km radius.

Tullaroop Creek, from Tullaroop to the end of Fowkes Lane near Clunes.

Avoca River, from Greenhill Creek Road Bridge to Archdale Bridge.

Loddon River, from Newstead Bridge to Laanecoorie Road Bridge.

Birch Creek, from Tullaroop Creek Junction to Lord Clyde Road.

Cairn Curren Reservoir, Tullaroop Reservoir, Goldfields Reservoir, Talbot Reservoir, Timor Reservoir, Laanecoorie Reservoir, Teddington Reservoir, Lamplough Res., Old Lead Reservoir [Dunolly], Steeds Weir, Lake Victoria, Deep Creek, Bet Bet Creek, McCallum's Creek, Dunira Creek.
