The Main Facilities Provided by the Maryborough Family History Group
The Main Facilities Provided by the Maryborough Family History Group
Include:
* A quarterly Newsletter is posted to all members.
* Extensive research facilities are avaliable including local, intrastate, interstate and some international records. Members have free access to those records and a small fee applies to non members.
* Postal research facilities are avaliable, for anyone unable to do their own research, a fee applies.
* Monthly Meetings every month except December.
Members enjoy our monthly meetings where we have:
* Guest spekers, who talk about many subjects allied to Genealogy and Family History.
* Information sessions, where members talk about their experiences with facets of research.
* Workshops, which are more 'hands on', giving members experience in the finer points of research.
* We conduct open days, where visitors can gain some insight into this fascinating hobby.
