What We Are and Who We're For

The Third Age is generally defined as the age of active retirement.
|
|
|
U3A means University of the Third Age, a learning co-operative of older people which encourages healthy ageing by enabling members to share educational, creative and leisure activities.
|
|
|
The only qualification for membership is to be in your third age. No educational qualifications are needed or given. Teachers and learners are all members of U3A.
|
|
|
We organise our own activities, drawing on the skills of fellow members. Our programme is developed from the interests of members and the community's resources.
|
|
|
Join up - it's a great way to meet and make friends.
